01 Who We Are

Your Best Life is an AI-powered personal development platform operated by Mission Dynamics, LLC, designed to help individuals grow in mind, performance, character, and purpose through a suite of AI-powered coaching avatars. Our website is located at https://yourbestlife.app. For the purposes of the GDPR, Mission Dynamics LLC is the "data controller." For the purposes of the CCPA/CPRA, we are a "business."

02 Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information (using the categories defined in CCPA Cal. Civ. Code §1798.140):

• Identifiers: name, email address, account credentials
• Customer records: personal goals, preferences, and profile information you voluntarily share
• Commercial information: subscription status, purchase history
• Payment information: processed directly by our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers)
• Content you submit through AI coaching interactions (questions, reflections, requests)

• Internet/network activity: pages visited, time spent, links clicked, referring URLs
• Device identifiers: browser type, device type, operating system
• Geolocation: IP address and approximate (city-level) geographic location — not precise GPS
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 05)
• Inferences drawn from the above to personalize content or measure performance

We do not knowingly collect "sensitive personal information" as defined by CPRA (such as Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health data, genetic data, or biometric identifiers).

03 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve our AI-powered coaching tools and services
• Respond to your questions and support requests
• Send service updates, newsletters, or personal development resources (you may opt out at any time)
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Analyze usage trends and measure marketing effectiveness
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

We do not sell your personal information for money. See Section 09 for details on "sharing" under California law and how to opt out.

04 AI Conversations and Data

When you interact with our AI coaching avatars, the content of those conversations is processed by our AI service providers (including MeclabsAI and underlying large language model providers). We encourage you to avoid entering sensitive personal information (such as full Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or confidential health or mental-health details) into AI chat fields. Conversation data may be reviewed — with identifying details removed where practical — to improve service quality, accuracy, and safety.

05 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. We group them into the following categories:

• Strictly Necessary: Required for the site to function (e.g., security, load balancing). Cannot be disabled.
• Analytics: Help us understand how visitors use the site. Provider: Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless, privacy-preserving).

You can control non-essential cookies through our cookie preference center (accessible via the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer) or through your browser settings. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request under California law.

06 Third-Party Services and Processors

We share personal information with the following categories of service providers, under written agreements that limit their use of the information to providing services to us:

• AI coaching: Our AI model providers — large language model inference and conversation processing
• Email & marketing: ActiveCampaign — email delivery and audience management
• Payment processing: Our payment processor handles card transactions; we never see full card numbers
• Hosting & security: Cloudflare — content delivery, DDoS protection, web analytics
• Legal & compliance: Government authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights

07 Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Account data is retained for the life of your account plus 30 days after account closure. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by tax law. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.

08 Your General Rights

All users, regardless of location, have the following rights:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of marketing communications (use the unsubscribe link in any email)
• Receive a portable copy of the information you provided to us

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@yourbestlife.app. We will respond within 45 days (CCPA) or 30 days (GDPR).

09 California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:

• Right to Know: Request disclosure of categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share.
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
• Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing: Direct us to stop "selling" or "sharing" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Right to Limit Use of Sensitive PI: We do not knowingly process sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to deliver our service, so this right is satisfied by default.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised these rights.

Categories sold or shared in the last 12 months: We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not currently use third-party advertising pixels on this site. We therefore do not "sell" or "share" personal information in the CPRA sense at this time. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide the required opt-out.

How to opt out: Use the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our website footer, or email privacy@yourbestlife.app. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request.

Authorized agents: You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require proof of the agent's authorization and verification of your identity.

10 EU/UK Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR:

• Right to restrict processing (Article 18)
• Right to data portability (Article 20)

Our legal bases for processing your data are: performance of a contract (providing the service), legitimate interests (analytics, security, service improvement), consent (marketing cookies, optional communications), and legal obligation (tax, fraud prevention).

11 Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

12 Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and Cloudflare's edge security. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide additional notice. Continued use of our site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
